From Melbourne Airport directly to La Trobe University

Take a taxi to La Trobe University (Bundoora Campus). This takes around 40 minutes, and the fare costs around $60.

From Melbourne Airport to Latrobe University, via Melbourne CBD

1.       Take the SkyBus towards city ($16, around 20 minutes, depending on traffic).

2.       When you arrive at the Spencer St SkyBus Coach Terminal, walk down to Southern Cross Railway Station (5 minute walk).

3.       Then follow one of the 3 options listed below.

From Southern Cross Railway Station (Spencer St) to Latrobe University

Option 1 – Tram

1.       From the corner of Bourke St & Spencer St, take the 86 tram towards Bundoora (from stop 0/121).

2.       After about 65 minutes, get off at stop 60 (La Trobe University).

3.       Walk through campus to Chisholm College.

Option 2 – Train then Bus

1.       Take a train towards Epping.

2.       After about 30 minutes, get off at Reservoir Railway Station.

3.       Walk to the corner of High St (4 minute walk).

4.       Take the 561 bus towards Macleod.

5.       After about 10 minutes, get off at stop David Myers Building - La Trobe University.

6.       Walk through campus to Chisholm College.

Option 3 – Train then tram

1.       Take a train towards Epping.

2.       After about 24 minutes, get off at Thornbury Railway Station.

3.       Walk to the corner of Mansfield St & High St (4 minute walk).

4.       Take the 86 tram towards Bundoora (from stop 40).

5.       After about 19 minutes, get off at stop 60 (La Trobe University).

6.       Walk through campus to Chisholm College.

·         The first Epping train departs (Southern Cross) at 7:50am, and the last at 12:04am.

·         The first 86 tram departs (Spencer St/Southern Cross) at 5:57am, and the last at 1:09am.
